Environmental effect & Waste disposal The production of PP-foils neither produces unpleasant smells nor industrial wastes. These foils don't contain cadmium, lead or other heavy metals and are therefore not detrimental to health. PP-foil are not harmful to the ground water when deposited on refuse disposal sites. When burned they are major energy suppliers. They burn to carbon dioxide and water i. e. steam without residue. There are no toxic gases and no dioxin.
